Taureans are driven by their affections rather than there emotions. They need to feel emotionally and physically secure and stable. They prefer their lives as they are and like the idea of permanency. Change is not easy for Taurus as they are a fixed sign by nature. Taurus is here to learn about values material and financial as well as emotions and sexual desire. What is really important to them, is it material possessions, relationships, integrity, faith. The Taurus house is related to money, and how is money earned. What is the purpose of money, and how will I use it? For what purpose?
Here are some Taurus character traits: Slow methodical, practical, reserved, determined, strong will, patient, self disciplined, persistent, loyal to family and friends, warm hearted and loving, honest, integral, keen sense of smell and touch, love the earth, not a risk taker, like steady routine, common sense ..stubborn, possessive, slow to change, lack flexibility, lazy, resentful, inflexible, greedy, self indulgent, materialistic, strong personal opinions and closed to other's ideas.
The most compatible signs for Taurus are the other two earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. They also are attracted to Cancer and Pisces. Scorpio is their opposite sign so there may be struggles, but you know what they say 'opposites attract'. This combination can work if the moon or ascendant signs are compatible. Taureans are affectionate, loving, and romantic. They like warm and cozy romantic dinners, a sensual massage, Romanic music and are so very sensitive to touch and smell.

Taurus in an earth sign, and when the sun shines on one earth sign, it gives a positive boost for all earth signs.....so Virgo and Capricorn will feel good this month! .. Also it's a good month for Pisces and Cancer. Leo and Scorpio are usually a little tense around this time of year, Taurus and Scorpio are opposites, and just as it says, opposites attract, but then what? They have to learn to compromise.
Mercury enters Gemini on May 12, so lots of chatter, social highlights and intellectual insights.
Venus enters Cancer may 9 th , love goes smoothly for Cancers, and this also brightens love for Scorpio and Pisces
Mars enters Aries May 16 th could heat communications up, relationship issues, and on larger scale political debate, foreign affairs, war efforts, transportation.
Neptune goes Retrograde (backwards) to Oct.31st it's as though this planet goes back in time to revisit old issues, opportunities, from the past. A time for reflection, meditation, letting go of old beliefs. Secrets will be revealed; hopefully not expose you, but to resolve conflict. Health issues (yours and your pets) may arise, listen to your body, past ailments may re-appear. The health care industry and pharmaceuticals will make announcements. Problems with electronic equipment, recalls from the auto industry. Sept and Oct, politics, royalty is on the spotlight.

6 Moon in Capricorn business, control, serious moods, work, goal setting, creative and positive outcomes, , later Venus is opposing Pluto, challenges in love, concerns with money, health, some karmic dark forces are present, stay positive and try to detach from any negative energy.

24 Moon in Virgo as above, plus, this is also a great time to watch what you are eating, perhaps a fast and /or cleanse would be a good idea. Neptune goes retrograde today , which means you could start a new diet, decide to become a vegetarian, or become fastidious about your diet. See your doctor about any health issues.
