Remember the song "This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius, Aquarius, where the Sun is in the 7th house and the moon is …?" This is your song Aquarius?!
A few years back, I had the most interesting telepathic message… "The consciousness of past meets the future of the present…" And I thought wow! I like that. It's the point of light within where we ponder how the past has brought us to this exact present moment; which seems to be where one second is the present and the next second the future. It's this light that creates the Uranian circuit of electricity that keeps creating the future moments in time and space. Now doesn't that sound very Aquarian?
Aquarius is best known in mythology as the 'Water Bearer'. Aquarius was once was, and I suppose still is known as a handsome young youth called Ganymede. He was the son of Tros, the first King of Troy and lived in Crete by Mount Ida. One day while Ganymede was working in the fields, Zeus cast his eyes upon him and immediately fell in love. He kidnapped him by turning into Aquila the Eagle and flew down, grabbed him and took him into the heavens to become the cupbearer to the Gods. The constellation known as the Crater is sometimes referred to as this cup, and after reading the mythology of this constellation, one may consider 'the cup' as the Holy Grail... the spiritual wine or elixir of the philosophers' stone. Ganymede's position was to pour wine for the Gods. Today, persons who relate to this archetype are those we see 'pouring spirit (the waters of Aquarius) on humanity.'
Persons with an Aquarian sun sign, Moon or ascendant or several planets on the 11 house or the planet Uranus conjunct personal planets will take on Aquarian traits.
Aquarians are known as the humanitarians of the zodiac. They seem to have a brotherly and sisterly love for all, in a somewhat detached manner. The Age of Aquarius is about peace and love and brings to mind another Aquarian song, Imagine, by John Lennon.

The Uranus opposition, at age 40, the power to transform your life
The planet Uranus that governs the electrical system and light, also known as our nervous system, rules Aquarius. The Breath, which is the food for our nervous system is also a major player in Aquarius. Have you ever mediated on your breath and realized that the breath of God is God? Imagine, we are breathing in this divine essence every moment of our life! Moreover, to take this a step further, could we say that the sign Aquarius or the planet Uranus rules God, or is God? Or at the very least, the first cause of the movement to create our universe? Perhaps…, the big bang that brought the universe forth. Mediate on that for a while. It's very interesting to note Genesis 2.7, ''and God breathed in Adam and gave him life". Therefore God breaths into you and me and gave us the inner light of his spirit. If you think about the Tree of life, all things of creation comes from these roots, grows into branches, then leaves, buds come forth and produce the fruit of the tree. (This is also the cycle of the moon) There is deep esoteric symbology and interpretation here as the number 27 (which carries the vibration of 2.7), actually means, 'the fruit of the tree'). Therefore, God breathes into us and gives us life whereby we grow into our own tree bearing the fruit of our inner nature and past-inherited consciousness, and the fruits of our new experiences and thoughts of the present. Furthermore, God breathes into you and me and gave us life… Isn't this what the astrology blueprint or chart is all about… The moment of the first breath? Hmmm. Something to contemplate for you truth searchers. I know the bible is full of metaphysical truths like this; we only need to be open to see them. Now doesn't Genesis 1.3 say "and God said, let there be light?" Further numerical interpretation tells us the number 13, the higher vibration of 1.3 means transformation, and this is how the universe was brought into being. If you think about this in a logical Aquarian manner, we might say, God is light… the sign Uranus governs light and electricity … and the sign Aquarius is governed by Uranus…, therefore…, God must be associated with this energy! Actually God is associated with all the planetary energies, is this not the four faces of God, which Ezekiel saw? (Ezekiel 1.4) I looked up and saw a windstorm coming from the north, lightening was flashing from a large cloud, and I saw four, 4 living creatures, four, 4 faces, and four, 4 wings. The four faces of God are the elements: fire, earth, water and air, which when multiplied by the qualities of the divine number 3, equal our 12 constellations. Ezekiel saw the building blocks and foundation upon which our universe is built. In addition if we take the 4 faces of God and 'square' (x 4) them, we have the number 16. In tarot symbology, which is also found in the bible,(Ezekiel 1.4) the number 16 means, the tower or the lightening flash, 'the awakener'. There is a lightening flash of intuition, which brings the knowledge of the true nature of the self. The number 4 also means, 'bringing spirit down into matter'. In addition, the number 444 is correlated with this scripture meaning the presence of an angelic message and messenger. Furthermore, the 444 is the numeric value of the heartbeat of the planet! You may ask me, how do you know that? And my answer is, God told me; for I too, have had a '444' experience. Wow….Our universe is so awesome!
This experience we call the Uranus Opposition that occurs about the age 40 is also described as the tower experience in the tarot number 16.
If we have made wise choices for our life path, the Uranus opposition will pass quietly and/or gently. However, if we have been challenged in our lives, the planet Uranus is there to help us move onto the correct path for our soul's purpose. Sometimes we have kept ourselves in bondage of the past, not able to let go of old traumas, hurts, self-sabotaging behavioural patterns and /or misguided thoughts and beliefs. I think the Uranus transit can be symbolically described as an Exodus experience. We decide to leave Egypt with the Moses archetype and venture forth into the unknown, to the Promised Land where we can create heaven on earth though the mind of God. We have all heard the expression 'change you mind, change your life'. This is Uranus's program, or teaching. Romans 12.2 states - "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you will know the perfect will of God". Well, there we have it, 'be transformed', and Uranus is the transformer. In reference to another numerical scripture passage please note Exodus 12.40 - the number 12 means reversals and 40 means at age 40, therefore at the age of 40 we have an opportunity to reverse our choices and leave the bondage (like a pharaoh keeping us in slavery) of our past inherited consciousness and belief patterns. Therefore, we can move into a place of positive progressive thought and action. In doing so, we can connect with the planet Uranus that has the ability to change our DNA patterning and plug us into a higher vibrational frequency. Remember I said Uranus can bring sudden unexpected events and a spiritual awakening is one of positive influences of Uranus… In a blink of an eye, you will be changed. Here is the passage in scripture: Corinthians 15:51-2 "Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will be changed -in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the last trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and the mortal will be immortal."
Translation:We will not all sleep - means to be unaware of the spiritual realm & phenomena, we will become aware
Changed in a flash - the lightening flash of Uranus, which rules the Kundalini power of the Holy Spirit within us
The last trumpet is the last 2 chakras in the head centre, associated with the Pineal and Pituitary glands, opening us up to the kingdom of heaven or other dimensions.
In astrology, our dreams come true in the Aquarian 11th house where Uranus is the lord of this energy. Once transformed, we become the world servers for humanity, "We are the ones we've been waiting for." is a catchy phrase the new thought movement is resonating to.
I have previously spoken about the Aquarian influence and the nervous system and the science of breath. The breath carries oxygen throughout our system and nourishes our physical and etheric body. This breath is also called prana, a spiritual energy related to oxygen. Prana purified our nervous system while oxygen keeps our blood healthy. The sun carries Prana, which enters our etheric system, then our physical body through the spleen; therefore, proper breathing is very important. Yoga, and correct breathe technique, along with meditation and the control of the mind is the highest form of a balanced health regime.
Aquarius also rules the ankles, lower legs and the circulatory system. If there is a problem with these areas of the body, the proper intake of prana may be the problem. The chakra system is the connection between the etheric and physical systems and may need recharging, just like batteries. When we recharge batteries, we plug them into a source of electrical energy. We need to do the same to recharge ourselves. Visualize a golden/silver cord coming from the chakra centers and plug them into an energy source such as the Sun. On the other hand, visualize them as a plug going to an electrical socket. This is Uranus connecting with 'the source' which we may also call God, the Creator, the All or the Unified Field. Think of it as a light bulb turned on at a high voltage. That's what your connection to Uranus can do. Persons with a strong placement of Uranus in their chart can act as transformers for healing as they have a greater ability to tap into universal consciousness. **Also as Aquarians' sun sign progresses into the next sign of Pisces, they need to be careful of sensitiveness and addictive tenancies, particularly to drugs and alcohol. The ruling planet of Aquarius, Uranus has moved into the sign Pisces, which is very sensitive to all kinds of chemicals, drugs, including prescriptions drugs, certain foods and air pollutants. Because Pisces is the opposite sign to Virgo, which riles the health, it is even more important for Aquarians to be aware, as their health will be in a delicate and sensitive state for several years. Ailments related to the sub-conscious mind, the intestinal tract, the feet, and lymph nodes are common with these signs. Meditation and reduction of stress is important for you now. Uranus will be in Pisces until March 12, 2011

This is the constellation of the swan, although the Christian referred to it as Cross of Calvary. The first degrees of Aquarius describe this energy as one with a handsome appearance, visionary, bold and lovable disposition. The Sabian symbol for 0° Aquarius describes this symbol as 'the power inherent in all great human works to endure far beyond the workers' lifespan.' "The consecration of an Ideal - implying the immortalization of an individual within a great collective and cultural enterprise."
The completion of Aquarius at 29° is symbolized by the Sabian symbol 'A Butterfly Emerging From the Chrysalis, the capacity to utterly transform the character of one's consciousness by radically altering the structural patterns of everyday living and the types of relationships one enters upon."
